Rick has over twenty-two years of public accounting experience including over four years with the national accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick. He has provided audit, tax consulting and accounting services to a wide variety of clients. Additionally, he has specialized in business consulting, tax consulting & compliance services and has participated in the engagements of major municipal enterprises. These engagements have provided Rick vast experience with governmental entities, non-profit organizations, and other commercial entities and included an extensive understanding of management operations, debt requirements, and financial accounting and reporting needs.
Rick is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Austin Chapter of the Texas Society of CPA’s.
Rick is a native of Austin and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. He has been active in civic affairs and organizations such as:
